Call a Bike, the Deutsche Bahn bike rental system A flexible and at the same time absolutely environmentally friendly mobility offering is DB Bahn's Call a Bike hire service. The possibility of hiring modern, high-tech bikes is not restricted to DB Bahn customers, but is available to everyone. Once registered with Call a Bike, a person can book any available CallBike by phone via the 24/7 service hotline. The customer can hire the bike for an unlimited period of time - billing is calculated to the minute (max. 9 euros per day). Hiring a bike is just as easy and as flexible as returning it: the bike only needs to be secured within the designated hire area, at large crossroads, for example, using the built-in lock. All the customer has to do then is give the details of the bike's location to the hotline. DB's CallBikes are currently available for hire in Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
